The Old Vicarage is a Georgian house with a walled garden in the charming village of Mortehoe. The sea is just a short walk away, across National Trust land.

The accommodation comprises two 'cottages' flanking the main house. Both cottages sleep 4. Both have access to the lawn at the front of the house for football, badminton, sunbathing etc. There is also a children's play area at the back, and plenty of parking space in the drive.

The cottages are ideal for family holidays and weekend breaks.

The nearest beach is the enchanting and empty Rockham Bay - a 10 minute walk down the hill. There is excellent surfing at Woolacombe Bay (3 minutes by car), and at Croyde or Saunton Sands (15mins). (Click for picture of Rockham) |

There are excellent bays and beaches for shells, shrimping, and mussels at low tide.

There are breathtaking walks around Morte Point and along the cliff tops towards either Woolacombe or Ilfracombe. (see pictures)

Local golf courses cater for all standards, from the pitch and putt in Woolacombe, the Woolacombe and the Mortehoe golf club, to the championship links course at Saunton Sands - 'probably the finest 36 holes of links in the British Isles'. (see pictures)
